TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS

REQUIRED FROM SEPTEMBER 2019 – Or earlier if available

FULL or PART TIME - PERMANENT

The Blandford School is a successful school with high aspirations for our students.  With outstanding facilities, and inspirational and dedicated staff, we seek to appoint an excellent Mathematics Teacher, with a passion for their subject. Both full and part time applications will be considered and can be accommodated within the timetable. The School is located in the beautiful Dorset countryside and within 30 minutes of beaches and the New Forest National Park.

This role would suit a Newly Qualified, Recently Qualified Teacher or someone with experience. Applications are also welcomed from teachers trained for the Primary Phase or those interested in subject conversion to become a Maths teacher. There will be additional extensive support available to develop both your teaching and leadership. The faculty works as part of the Jurassic Coast Maths Hub, playing a significant role and ensuring that teaching is focussed on evidence based research to improve learning. The Mathematics faculty is led by an exceptional teacher and leader and student outcomes are rapidly improving. The study of Mathematics post 16 is strong and the faculty offers Core Mathematics alongside A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.

We welcome potential applicants visiting the school in advance of making an application.
