The Heath Academy Trust and Oakhurst First and Nursery School are seeking to appoint an inspiring Assistant Head Teacher from September 2019,  who is committed to assisting the leadership of the school on its rapid improvement journey. We need an enthusiastic, skilled and motivated leader who is able to drive high expectations of children’s learning with quick results to join our dedicated team. The successful applicant must be willing to be fully involved in the life of the school and have the drive and aspiration to want to improve further. 

The successful candidate must have high expectations of children’s learning and behaviour and should be enthusiastic, energetic and an excellent learner. We are looking for a consistently, strong classroom practitioner who has high expectations of all children.  The year group is not yet decided but you must be committed to teaching throughout the first school age range.

The selection process will be rigorous and will include members of the leadership team observing teaching in candidate’s current post.
