KINGSTON MAURWARD COLLEGE

Post Title: Animal Welfare and Science Lecturer, covering animal health, husbandry, welfare, behaviour and other animal related subjects

Post Reference: AC83

Hours: 37 hours per week* 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday with flexibility to meet business needs

*this role would be considered as a job share – please state on your application form what hours / fraction you would be interested in and what level (foundation to degree) of teaching experience you have.

Salary: £20,760 - £25,125 per annum depending upon qualifications and experience which is points L4b – L8c on the Academic Staff Salary Scale.

Job Purpose: To teach and develop the specialist skills of the learners and carry out regular formative and summative assessment.  This will include both live and online lessons with the potential for course management responsibilities.

Vision: For this role, we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Lecturer with the ability to deliver high quality, inspiring lectures and practical teaching sessions with strong industry links to give our learners an exceptional learning experience.
