Youth Worker (Crossways)

We would like to appoint a hard working person with ICT skills and technical knowledge, to train as an apprentice in the first instance to support to our staff and students. You will be involved in developing and monitoring the ICT network and maintaining ICT equipment and resources. This is an apprenticeship post with 20% of your time (during the apprenticeship) for learning and development. You may, at times, be required to support teachers in the classroom. Once you have successfully completed the Apprenticeship programme you will move to Dorset Grade 6. The successful candidate will not be expected to fulfil the full duties and responsibilities outlined in the job description (unsupervised), until they have completed their apprenticeship and are receiving the salary for the post.
Applications are welcomed from individuals who can demonstrate a good knowledge of ICT. Candidates also need to show evidence of their willingness to work in a team and be supportive of the school’s ethos.
