We are looking for a talented individual to lead the successful delivery of the Dorset Low Carbon Economy Programme.
This new Programme, which will be funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), aims to stimulate a step change in Dorset’s low carbon economy, through accelerating the deployment and demonstration of low carbon technologies such as energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Your role will be to manage the overall Programme, including the provision of a grants fund and technical support, targeted at business, public and community sector organisations. You will need to ensure that the Programme meets agreed outputs, match funding targets and is ERDF compliant.
You will have excellent and demonstrable knowledge and experience of managing ERDF funded programmes; demonstrable knowledge of low carbon energy technologies and experience of managing a grants programme.
Excellent project management, communication and partnership working skills will also be essential.
This position is a 3 year fixed term opportunity.
This post has a significant travel requirement and you are contractually required to have a vehicle (or transport deemed to be suitable by the County Council) available for use as required.
