Customer Service Officer

Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Commencing 1st September 2017

Salary: £15,613 - £16,491

Plus Local Government Pension Scheme

Hours: 30 hours per week

The Christchurch and East Dorset Partnership is looking for a forward thinking individual to join their busy team in Leisure Services at Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre (Christchurch)

Christchurch and East Dorset Partnership are looking for a Customer Services Advisors to join our busy Customer Service teams.  As a first point of call for all customers you will be confident, approachable and dedicated to providing the highest standard of customer care.

The key duties for this position are:

  • Dealing with customers both in person and over the telephone
  • Handling queries regarding the Centre, facilities, events and activities
  • Taking bookings and payments on the point of sale system
  • Assisting with general administration such as record keeping, replenishing leaflets and bookings and other lessons
  • Sales and Memberships

 The successful candidate will have:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work in a busy environment
  • IT Skills
  • The ability to work on their own initiative
  • Experience in customer services  would be desirable.

Flexibility and reliability are essential as you will be required to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
