What you will be doing
The Housing Team is a specialist team dealing with households who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This is an exciting and challenging role. You will be working with families and single people to ensure early intervention, prevention and assisting households find solutions to their housing problems.
If you would like to be part of a team that identifies, devises and implements solutions for the difficulties faced by homeless households, this could be just the role for you.
Are you interested in reducing barriers that prevent individuals from accessing and maintaining settled accommodation? Our busy Housing Team provides a service aimed at finding members of the public appropriate housing solutions and undertaking homelessness assessments. Full and extensive training will be provided to ensure your ongoing development.
You will promote and provide an advice and information service to prevent homelessness. You will promote a range of housing solutions and will also provide advice to landlords and tenants regarding their statutory rights.
