Empty Homes Officer

22.5 hours per week

£16,310 - £17,831

What you’re great at:

We are looking for an Empty Homes Officer to join the Dorset Councils Partnership.

You will be part of a progressive private sector Housing team. Your primary focus will be to reduce the number of homes that are left vacant, through a policy of advice, assistance and intervention where appropriate.

You will have experience of working with property owners providing efficient, customer focused support with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.

You will be a confident communicator using different methods and styles and will possess knowledge and practical application of IT systems.

You will be emotionally resilient and possess drive & motivation to deliver change and new approaches.

In addition to your own workload, you will be required to support your colleagues and work flexibly across the Service as the need arises.

You may be required to participate in an out of hours service when required.
