Social Worker - Level 2 (25 hrs) (Salisbury)
Salary details: £18485 - £21779
The Community Mental Health Team at Westhaven in Weymouth are looking for an experienced level 3 social worker to join a lively team, overseeing hospital discharges and completing community based assessments with people who have complex mental health conditions.
We work closely in an MDT setting, along with Psychiatrist, Psychologist and CPN's. You will have the opportunity to work in a busy, vibrant team, whilst gaining a wealth of experience.
You do not need to be an AMHP social worker, but must have a good working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Court of Protection, 117 cases and have good writing and IT skills.
You will need be positive, enthusiastic and willing to work closely with the clinical teams, as well as other professionals in the community.
This position sits within Adult & Community Services and is based at The Community Mental Health Centre in Weymouth.
