An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time experienced senior Occupational Therapist to join our busy Sherborne cluster team based in Yeatman hospital, Sherborne, Dorset.
You will work closely with colleagues in health, early help, community and voluntary sectors to ensure customer’s outcomes are met effectively
As a senior practitioner, you will demonstrate high levels of professional practice and take responsibility for a caseload of complex cases within a community setting. You will demonstrate good communication skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be able to work autonomously and have excellent manual handling and risk assessment skills and a good knowledge of equipment and adaptations.
You will be required to assist the Area Practice Manager to co-ordinate team resources and will provide direction and practice support to team colleagues and allocate work within the team as necessary.
You will work within a supportive team of experienced therapists and there will be regular training and CPD opportunities to support your development. We offer flexible working schemes and regular formal and informal supervision will be provided to support you in your role.

You must have a degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC and be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the post.
