An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Extended MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub)/Out of Hours Service in Dorset Children’s Services.

You will be passionate and show through your application and the interview process a determination to put the needs of children living in Dorset at the forefront of the decision-making process.

Please note that the Extended MASH (Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub) incorporates the Out of Hours Service and social workers are required to work to a rota covering both sections of the service. The rota includes some evening work and on-call sessions for overnights, with one in eight weekends on-call, and this is a requirement of the role, so flexibility will be required.

The Extended MASH Team work across two offices, Poole Police Station and Westport House, Wareham. Specific working arrangements will be discussed at interview stage.

If you’re an experienced social worker with at least two years’ experience, plus a track record of building relationships and making a difference to children’s lives, we want to hear from you.
