Accountancy Officer

37 hours per week

1 x permanent position

1 x fixed term for 12 months

£21,962 - £24,174

What you’re great at:

We are looking for Finance professionals to join the Dorset Councils Partnership.

You will undertake a wide variety of financial management and accounting duties including budgeting, budget monitoring and preparation of statement of accounts, bank reconciliations.

You will have experience using computerized financial information systems and Microsoft Excel using features such as links, lookup tables and IF statements.

You will be a confident communicator using different methods and styles and will have the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.

You will have a forward thinking and creative approach and work with others to develop innovative solutions.

There will be opportunities to develop and assist with the delivery of a range of projects, develop close working relationships with teams across the Partnership and work within a department which takes a positive approach to personal and professional development.

In addition to your own workload, you will be required to support your colleagues and work flexibly across the Service as the need arises.
