What you’re great at:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is a great team player, with sound organisational skills and a proven track record of working to tight deadlines. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work accurately under pressure and have excellent IT skills.
Previous election experience is not essential as full training will be given.
What you will own and how you will grow:
You will support the Team in the run up to the Elections being held on 2 May 2019 for both the new Unitary Authority and the Parish and Town Councils. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to, answering telephone and email enquiries from the public, inputting and processing postal and proxy applications, general administration duties in relation to the upcoming Elections. You will have the ability to work unsocial hours such as evenings and weekends in the week before the Elections.
We are on a digital journey to provide the best online services for those that wish to use them to allow us more time to support those that need us most.

The Team are working across the new Unitary area with colleagues from East Dorset and Purbeck to ensure the successful delivery of the Elections. We are well into our planning stage and the successful applicant will help to support the officers with this.
