Pan-Dorset Child Exploitation Transformation Lead

Full Time, Fixed Term for 1 year in the first instance

£31,371 - 36,876

Dorchester

The Pan Dorset Child Exploitation Transformation Lead is employed and managed as part of the Pan Dorset Safeguarding Children Partnership, within the Dorset Council Children’s Services Safeguarding and Standards structure.  The post will work Pan Dorset with partner agencies.  This is a fixed term post for one year in the first instance.

The partnership has put this post in place to ensure data, intelligence and knowledge is collected, analysed and shared to support a clear multi-agency understanding of the exploitation risks in Dorset.  The post co-ordinates the partners response to Children at Risk or Linked to Exploitation (CAROLE) model.  The main deliverables are collating and analysing data to facilitate the exchange of information between partners, facilitate integrated work between agencies, implement a practice child exploitation toolkit for the workforce and promote awareness of the multi-agency procedures, tools and resources.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled business and data analyst, who has excellent people skills, experience of multi-agency partnership working and leading transformation change.  The post-holder will be expected to have or develop an understanding of the wider partnership working required to deliver this project and build positive and practical working relationships as we move forward with embedding the model.

Interviews: week commencing 2nd September
