What you’re great at:
We are looking for an Apprentice PA to join Dorset Councils Partnership. You will be a proactive, organised individual with good attention to detail and a keen interest to learn.
You will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and be a confident communicator. You will have a good working knowledge of a wide range of IT applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
What you will own and how you will grow:
This is an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join an enthusiastic team of PAs who will support you as you progress in the role. You will assist the PAs with the work demands of the Senior Leadership Team (Chief Executive and Directors) and the overall organisational effectiveness across Dorset Councils Partnership. There may also be the opportunity to assist with duties for the wider Corporate Management Team and Council Leaders.
Over the 12 month apprenticeship, you will provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant and PAs by undertaking a variety of tasks such as dealing with the post, assisting with correspondence monitoring and assisting with organising meetings and events. You will have the opportunity to build on your customer care skills by way of answering phone calls, collecting visitors and providing hospitality.
