As part of this vibrant team you may be asked to respond to cover short and longer term resource gaps working across intake, assessment and review work in Learning Disability, Mental Health and Physical Disability and Older People Services you may also be involved in project work.

You must have a degree in Social Work / Occupational Therapy or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC and be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the post.
Dorset County Council requires all newly qualified social workers to undertake the assessed and supported year in employment (ASYE) and meet the expected standards during the ASYE period.
The ASYE arrangements should normally apply to the appointment of all newly qualified social workers who qualified after September 2012 unless they can demonstrate that they already fully meet the standards laid out in the professional capabilities framework (PCF).
This post has a significant travel requirement and you are contractually required to have a vehicle (or transport deemed to be suitable by the County Council) available for use as required.
