Summary 

Moors Valley Country Park is situated on the Dorset / Hampshire border and boasts a wealth of adventurous play, way-marked walks and cycles, a ‘Go Ape!’ high ropes course, narrow-gauge steam railway and an abundance of health and wellbeing opportunities.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced communications and marketing professional to join our ranger team. This is a wide-ranging and challenging role in which no two days will be the same and where you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of a brand-new marketing strategy. 

What you will be doing 

As our lead advisor on the parks marketing, you will work closely with rangers, the park’s joint partner, Forestry England and Dorset Council’s corporate communications team to explore opportunities for growth and public visibility, ultimately increasing visitor numbers and revenue. Exceptional marketing knowledge and a passion for the environment are crucial for this role.

If you’ve got experience of working in a marketing role, able to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously, and fancy helping to promote our much-loved country park, we want to hear from you! 

About you  

The ideal candidate will have experience in communication and marketing, ideally in the leisure and tourism sector, with specific experience in developing and leading on diverse marketing strategies. The ability to display innovative, creative thinking, alongside a passion to work collaboratively will be essential. 

This post will involve working 37hrs per week, spread over 5 days, to include varied weekends and evenings where required. You must be willing and able to work during school holidays.
