Our employees’ personal learning starts with a comprehensive induction programme, and continues during their careers through a range of vocational development opportunities, appraisals and access to a variety of learning resources.

 

Our development opportunities focus our employee contribution on organisational priorities, and aim to enrich the value of the contribution made by every employee in the partnership. Together, DCP’s aim is to prepare all our people for the future, collectively building upon and enhancing the skills, knowledge and experience of our workforce.

 

Annual Performance Appraisal

We are committed to making sure employees have a constructive, positive, two-way, formal annual and mid-year performance and development meeting with your line manager.  The meeting should focus on reviewing your current objectives, identifying future objectives, noting achievements and aspirations, discussing and agreeing overall performance and identifying any professional or corporate learning and development needs.

 

Apprenticeships

We encourage managers to provide apprentice opportunities and strive to secure employment opportunities both internally and externally for people who have completed their apprenticeships.
